Breakfast & After School Club Fees
Our after school club prices are affordable and our club is a cost effective alternative to other forms of childcare, giving parents peace of mind while they work.
After school club fees generally include a healthy snack and drink with a range of activities and ours is no exception.
We’ve often heard parents show concern about after school club fees, with some parents feeling that they’re paying for their children to watch telly and play console games for three hours.
But this is not the case with Little Market After School Club, we will keep your child entertained as no two days are ever the same.
In comparison to other forms of childcare like a childminder, our fees give you great value for money and for that price you know your child will be provided with continuity as they build solid friendships with other school children.
Plus they have the opportunity to be stimulated and gain skills that they wouldn’t necessarily gain in a different context.
It can be hard work to find an after school club, but what sets us apart from the crowd is we understand that some parents work late and have the option of looking after your child until 7pm.
We also offer a breakfast club which can provide great stability for children who also come to us after school.
Financial Resources
You could get extra money towards your childcare costs in the form of tax credits while you’re working.
Your employer may offer a Childcare Voucher scheme which means you can reduce the price you pay, and if there are two parents or carers then you can make double the savings.
Your employer will let you know if they offer this scheme and whether you are eligible. There are different sorts of vouchers such as electronic and paper vouchers, and many employers use the ‘salary sacrifice’ method which means you get some National Insurance relief on a portion of your salary.
Changes are being introduced to the scheme from Autumn 2015 and it will alter what you are entitled to. The vouchers may also affect your tax credits so get in touch with you local Working Tax credit office to find out more. Also if your cash salary is below the National Minimum Wage you may not be eligible.
If you are thinking of changing your day after school care club to us, you can rest assured that you can transfer your childcare vouchers to us.
If your employer does run the childcare voucher scheme, come and talk to us so we can give you the necessary information. You can find out more about childcare vouchers at: childcarevouchers.co.uk
If you are in full-time education and in receipt of student finance, you can get the full after school club fee covered for one child or more.
This is paid on top of your student finance, and you don’t have to pay it back.
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, the government will pay £2 for every £8 you pay your childcare provider.
This is paid via an online childcare account that you set up for your child.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
What you can use Tax-Free Childcare for;
You can use it to pay for approved childcare, for example:
• childminders, nurseries and nannies
• after school clubs and play schemes
• home care agencies
Your childcare provider must be signed up to the scheme before you can pay them and benefit from Tax-Free Childcare.
Check with your provider to see if they’re signed up.
