Little Market School Club Romford
About Little Market After school Club Romford
LMASC runs an immensely popular breakfast and after school club both at Wykeham Hall, Market Place, Romford and Concordia Academy, Union Road, Romford.
At both settings our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating play provision in a related and friendly environment.
Little Market After School Club is a small, family-run business.
We are passionate about helping all the children in attendance at the setting reach their full potential and continually provide a homely yet professional service which enables all children to feel happy, safe and relaxed.
Wykeham Hall
At Wykeham Hall we operate our breakfast club from 7am until 8.15am when the children are walked to their surrounding schools.
Once children are collected from school, they walk back to Wykeham Hall and will remain until collection on or before 7pm.
Concordia Academy
Onsite at Concordia Academy we operate our breakfast club from 7.30 am until school opens and the children are collected from their relevant class rooms.
Children are then returned to the main school hall and will remain onsite until collection on or before 6pm.
Collections
We collect from a number of schools within the surrounding area of the local community, returning the children to Wykeham Hall.
Children attending at Concordia Academy will be collected from their relevant classes and will remain on site in the main school hall.
All our staff undergo rigorous safer recruitment checks and holds a valid enhanced DBS (registered under the government Updating Service) which enables us to undertake continuous checks, coupled with a valid paediatric first aid qualification.
We engage the children with a numerous amount of activities which provides them with social interaction, physical activities, creative achievement, intellectual stimulation and emotional stability.
We also make good use of our outdoor areas at both Wykeham Hall and at Concordia Academy enhancing further physical activities for the children.
Nutrition
At both Wykleham Hall and Concordia Academy the children are provided with a healthy breakfast and a healthy nutritious snack following the Food Standards Regulations with a variety of choices which are regularly changed.
The children are actively encouraged to be involved with choosing their snacks for the menus as well as assisting in the preparation of snacks.
We will endeavour to cater for any special dietary requirements your child may have.
However, parents are always reminded that the snacks offered at the after-school club is by no means a substitute for their child’s evening meal.
